Desired Candidate Profile

1.  Holds qualifications in Security and Safety Management desirable
   2. Good knowledge of Fire Emergency and Evacuation, and Bomb Threat procedures
   3. Adequate knowledge in managing fire fighting equipment, sprinkler systems and smoke detectors and knowledge of occupational health and safety codes
   4. Qualified in first aide and equipment
   5. Well developed report writing and investigation skills
   6. Good trainer, able to facilitate at all levels
   7. Well developed Communication and Customer Relations Skills
   8. Basic Computer Skills particularly in the use of MS Office and email
   9. Minimum 1 to 2 years work experience in a hotel or large commercial complex
  10. Essential knowledge of Travel and Hotel industry

 
Job Description

1.   Handles all guest and internal customer complaints and inquiries in a courteous and efficient manner, following through to ensure problems are resolved satisfactorily.
   2. Maintains positive guest and colleague interactions with good working relationships.
   3. Ensures patrol been carried out in all public areas, restaurants, guest floors, offices, plant rooms and all other areas of the hotel, ensuring safety, security and comfort of all guests, hotel personnel. Ensures that all Security personnel look out for any suspicious loiterers or articles.
   4. Patrols public areas to detect fires, unsafe conditions, and missing or inoperative safety equipment.
   5. Assists the Team Leader /Assistant Security Manager/Assistant Managers-Security during his tour of duty.
   6. Conducts enquiries and checks on all security and fire related incidents and submit initial reports.
   7. Questions any suspicious character in a polite manner; Refuses entry if the subject is not able to provide reasonable reply; Requests for assistance immediately if the situation arises.
