Network Specialist - 573025

Description
 In this position, you will be responsible for delivering the network analysis and characterization of enterprise IT services, analyzing how applications use the network and suggesting improvements, troubleshooting network issues of existing services, implementing network performance services. Your responsibilities will include but not be limited to:
- Understanding of networking technologies; LAN, network protocols, routing, WAN
- Understanding of OSI and TCP and/or IP protocols, addressing, flow control and windowing
- Supporting internal customers on new application and software service deployments by analyzing the network characteristics of applications, assessing the impact of these services on the network and ensuring they do so efficiently
- Encompassing a variety of activities including requirements gathering, planning project activities, communication to stakeholders, developing solutions, successful implementation of projects and influencing the customers to incorporate necessary changes
- Performing impact analysis of new technologies on environment
- Analyzing and troubleshooting network problems and application slowness issues
- Planning and scheduling work to meet deadlines established by others to ensure the completion of several related tasks

Qualifications
 You should possess a relevant educational qualification. Additional qualifications include:
- This position is for a Recent College Graduate (Fresher)
- Good analytical skills, problem solving and resolution skills
- Knowledge and interest in the field of Computer Networking (preference to those who have taken Computer Networking as a subject in college)
- Good knowledge and understanding of OSI reference model and working of network protocols
- Understanding of WAN, LAN technologies and how the Internet works including DNS, Proxy, DHCP, Load Balancing and network security
- Knowledge of Network Analysis would be an added advantage
- Network certification (CCNA) would be an added advantage
