About the Role
 
This challenging & action packed role involves ensuring through verification and validation that McAfee Virus Scan solutions continue to work for end users after upgrading to newer versions without compromising the quality and or / capabilities in any aspect.
 
Primary Responsibilities:
 
1. Test Execution & Reporting
2. Test Design
3. Product Defect reporting & closure
4. Release
5. Coordination & Signoff BE in Computer Science ME in Computer Science Also, degrees in other related disciplines and/or experience equivalent to a computer science degree
 
Experience & Qualifications
 
·         Technical Skills
1.    About 2-3 years of relevant industry experience in test design, test execution & reporting
2.    Good knowledge of Windows internals, Networking, Firewall, Setup & Installation
3.    Good knowledge of bug tracking systems like Bugzilla
4.    Working knowledge of Test Repositories like Test Link, Quality Centre
5.    Familiarity of Product Sustenance Process
6.    Programming experience in any languages like C++, C#, PERL etc
7.    Exposure to automation concepts and tools like QTP, Silk, Winrunner
8.    Ability to create, modify and review test scripts.
9.    Good understanding and ability to apply aggressive bug finding techniques.
10.  Able to describe a bug accurately and clearly.
11.  Good knowledge of the module/ area of work.

1.    Acts to promote good working relationships regardless of personal likes or dislikes.
2.    Is able to break problems down into simple lists of tasks or activities and sorts out a list of tasks in order of importance.
3.    Is able to work with little supervision, appears confident and presents oneself with assurance.
