Job Description:
The position will involve: The successful candidate will form part of a new Mumbai office adding to the existing London team. The candidate will undertake software development and maintenance of our award-winning web-based software application Willis iFM®. This is an all-round hands-on role covering all aspects of the software development life cycle, using JSP, EJB and Oracle 11g and will involve close collaboration with our London-based core development team. The following experience/skill set is essential: • Degree educated in a quantitative discipline (Mathematics, Science or Computer Science): essential

• Strong background and commercial experience of Java and J2EE. In particular, the candidate must be able to demonstrate proficiency in JSP, JSTL, EJB 2(.x) and SQL.

• Experience in software design, with specific emphasis on testing (unit testing in particular).

• Enthusiasm and self-motivation – essential. Ability to work unsupervised and a keen desire to learn a large and complex system are required.

• Team player – role will require close collaboration with London-based development team.
